Hello everyone, been quite w while since I've been on here but thought I'd share with you an experience I had online which outlines how shallow some girls are with height.. I saw an attractive girl whose height was put on as 1.75 (5'9).. Keep in mind I am now a strong 185, 186 in the morning so I have 185 on my profile.. So anyway after talking for a while she says, it appears that your not tall enough, I need a guy who is 6'3.. I couldn't believe what I was reading.. I am 4 inches taller than her, and she's claiming that I wouldn't be tall enough for her.. Even a 6'1 guy can be judged online about his height haha.. It's ridiculous if you ask me..

I'd say you have an advantage, you're tall AND you keep the deluded ones away.

Welcome back., DescreteUser... Loved reading your diary.

And on the topic, doesn't surprise me the least.

Girls are usually not in the "he must be at least x cm taller than me"-camp, but are more often thinking in "he must be at least x cm tall" category.

So a 160cm girl would not think "hey, a 165 cm guy is 5 cm taller than me, which is okay", but she would usually still think "a man needs to be 180cm for me to be an acceptable mate".

It's horrible, but in my experience, that's the way a lot of women think.

But it's like that only in online dating... Atleast from my experience...

Imo it's a lot more profound in online dating, since there is a lot of "catalogue thinking" in there. But still a lot of women are thinking like that also in real life in my experience.

Your mileage may vary, off course... An example of how bad some girls are with height on online dating..

Boh... I think it also depends on where you are from. Since I am from a place in which 180+ is not so common, I dont think that many women will outrightly discount you if you are below 175... Nordic aryan and dutch cultures on the other hand....

In Germany it is very very difficult for a guy if he is below 180. Even very average to completely unattractive women are to be seen with guys 180 +

You are right, it depends on the country where that girl lives in, off course.

It will be different if you are living in northern Europe or south east asia.
