as citizens dont we have a right to know whats going on with a medical product the FDA approved? what is nuvasive doing right now? are there cases of terrible outcomes? is there a lawsuit?

I was thinking of writing to media outlets to track this and show them this forum and how patients are upset and scared. who can we write to?

I urge patients of existing patients to talk to their doctors about this. the nails are in your bodies!

Quote from: Medium Drink Of Water on February 09, 2021, 05:39:48 PMYou could maybe do this yourself.  FOIA, the Freedom Of Information Act.  Any citizen can request whatever the FDA has.

Can anyone and everyone see that I have placed this request?

and which media outlet do you think would be interested in my finding?

I hear ya'll. media sucks. but how on earth do you feel safe to use this nail now? is privacy more important than physical health of your legs and possibility of cancer?

they are a monopoly. THey will announce tomorrow that all is well. WIll you just believe them?

Ha good points lads. like it or not Dr. Kevin ain't gonna stop reaching out to all media outlets out there. paparazzi outlets to business news, hes got em all covered. lmao sadly the comments on all those websites never improve best place to follow the nuvasive mess?

And yeah cosmetic leg length is a tiny portion of nuvasive's business (we're the only ones who stake both our legs tho lol). so media will not have a reason to target just us. But there is no forum for single leg cases. if I reach out to media it will have to be with this forum which is all cosmetic.

I know some of you think Im blowing this out of proportion but a billion $ medical company suddenly decides to withdraw nails all over the world? I think thats a pretty major thing. They will do anything to come back to them market asap. $$$$ is what matters to them.

Quote from: RB on February 10, 2021, 10:03:27 AMI would highly recommend not taking this to the media. When the nails are reinstated, the last thing us future patients want is for them to take them off the market again due to negative media attention. The media will not help solve these issues but only contribute further to the mockery of short men.

seriously dude you want the nails released asap no matter what? even without a thorough investigation? I understand privacy even I want it. but to be so desperate that you dont even care about safety? if there is ANY reason for nuvasive to take them off the market again, they should. They are $$$$$ making company. They will always find reasons to not take it off the market.

Quote from: Body Builder on February 10, 2021, 09:30:03 AMWe know about Derbibashad's practices very well, he is the biggest LL merchant in the world right now.
And you promote a salesman.

Anyway, ask your merchamt doctor about nuvasive nails as you appreciate him that much, you don't need to worry.

you may dislike his marketing but hes a top class doctor. When he does the surgery he does it with concentration. He doesnt take insta selfies. He also does good followups.

if for some reason you cant afford him or dont live near him, Im sorry. But why so much hate? its his profession. If hes proud of it why shouldnt he advertise it? In fact himself being quite short hes putting himself in an awkward position while marketing it. But its his choice.

If you became a software programmer and you werent allowed to advertise your web development skills and make your family proud is it fair?
