I am planning on getting Precise 2.2 for femurs in the next month or so and am trying to decide between Dr. Debiparshad at Limbplastx or Dr. Paley. Any one have any thoughts / opinions on who to go? Currently 5'8 and planning on going for the full 3.15 inches to get to 5'11.
Primary concern is getting botched during surgery at Limbplastx, but from what I have heard it sounds like Limbplastx is fine for femurs. Don't want to pay an additional $30-40k (all in) for Paley if that is unnecessary.
Any opinions / experiences with either doctor / clinic will be appreciated.
Dr. Debiparshad (Limbplastx) or Paley?
If you will have from Femurs then i guess you can choose Dr Deb.
But if you will have Tibias then Dr Paley is better.
There is no comparison to Paley with any other LL doctor in the world.
Moreover when the other doctor is an LL merchant like Derbipashad.

Paley is also a merchant himself. Refuse to do external lengthening and hide the risks of nailing.
His age might also be a factor. I heard that he only does 1 leg and let his assistance does the other leg.

Yeah this is what I've been hearing from everyone as well. If I will be fine doing femurs with Dr. D., I find it difficult the justify the cost for Paley.

I have also heard he only does one leg and Dr. Robbins does the other. I am sure Dr. Robbins is great, but he's still not Paley and that's what you're really paying for.

I saw this and it bothers me as well, but seems to be a tibia issue and not a femur issue. Are there any reports of Dr. D. doing a poor job on anyone's femurs?
