Hello there

So, here's the deal. We all know that Dr.paley has been involved in this field for a really long time and has acquired a lot of experience. I watched one of his presentations recently, and at one point he mentioned that Precise 1 had more problems relative to Precise 2 in the sense that it was more prone to breakage and etc. As far as I know, Precise 1 was released in 2012, but correct me if i'm wrong. My question is: When was the Precise 2 released and how many years, on average, does it take for an internal nail to advance into something reliable?

Thanks.

Thanks for replying!!

The reason for asking this question is that most probably I will not be able to access Stryde nail. That's because I live in a country where it is not available, and it is also expensive if I had to go abroad to get it done. The local doctor who I had a consultation with recently introduced me to a nail that his team have been developing for the past three years. I asked him if it is as reliable as Precise, and his answer was positive. Apparently, after doing some measurements based on the X-ray, the associated company makes you a custom-made nail which is full-bearing. It is much more affordable than Stryde, but I'm not sure If I can trust a nail that is not known internationally. To comfort my concerns, he suggested me to talk to his previous patients that got it done via that nail. Looking forward to that! I hope they'll share with me their honest experience.
