Hey everyone so in a few min we’ll have on several members of Paley’s Physical Therapy team for a LIVE Q&A. You can catch that here:

Next week we’ll have a patient progress follow-up with Leon, Optimus, hopefully HJ and possibly another one or two patients to see how they're doing. Week after hoping to have another patient currently lengthening.

Finally, I’m open to new content ideas so if you have any suggestions feel free to email them to me at [email protected] or in this thread I’ll try to drop back occasionally. One thing I’m thinking of doing is the patient-ranked LL clinics - like the 2022 LL surgeon/clinic awards or something like that. Just need to figure out what categories will be rated etc.

I want to learn more about the Fitbone nail. You have given so much importance only to Precice all this while but Fitbone has been used in Europe since decades, so I think we should not be biased there.

Maybe I missed it, but did they talk about about long term outcomes based on amount lenghthened? As in for example, they saw that patients who lengthened up to 6cm or 5cm on the femurs recovered much faster than patients who did more?

Hi Victor,

It would be great if you could attempt to get an update on the current status of the Stryde-nail recall and the efforts to have it re-released onto the market.

The last update was from nearly a year ago and only recently someone posted on here that a surgeon had responded to them by E-Mail that Stryde has in fact been recalled permanently.

Would be very grateful for if you could get some new information from Paley, Nuvasive or anyone involved with the nail!

@cyborg4life

Could you please interview Dr. Axel Becker from the Betz Institute? He seems to be Augustin Betz's successor.

@randy - you're right I think mainly due to popularity of the Precice and Stryde but Fitbone deserves a fair look.

@informationispower - I don't think they did since it's highly variable but in general the more conservative the faster the recovery

@interested_2022 - Maybe they were referring to the Stryde you know - but I kind of did ask when I visited Paley but he told me to keep it under wraps (I guess to avoid disappointment if it doesn't happen when time comes) but I may ask him again soon or NuVasive directly. I should bill NuVa while I'm at it - all the nails I've indirectly sold for them from the content lol.

@precice strider - I think I'd have to contact Globus to inquire about that since I think they acquired them more recently not sure I'll have to check into it

@Limbfan2020 - I got a few emails about this and I have him on a list of consideration for future interviews. I've heard he does cosmetic surgeries as well as LL is that correct? Guess he can make incision scars disappear for real!

All great suggestions thanks!

Hey Victor.  Was wondering if you may be able to contact some of the people from the 2008 and Short and Male documentary.  The 2 dentist brothers, the kid who was taking HGH, the comedian, etc.  It would be very interesting to see how everyone...or at least whoever is willing, is doing these days.  It would be interesting to get their take on CLL and the advances that have occurred.  Perhaps some of them may have even undergone the procedure themselves.  Nonetheless, would definitely be entertaining.  Love the YouTube channel and always tuning in to see what's new.  Take care!

Thanks, Victor. Yeah, the update from 10 months ago was your interview with Paley, where he said he expected it in 2023. The E-Mail mentioned on this forum was a completely different surgeon just a few weeks ago, who said it's been taken off the market permanently. Really hope it's not true. But yeah, if you have the chance, that kind of information would be very much appreciated. I know a few people postponing their CLL until Stryde 2.0 comes out.

I think I also remember you saying at the end of one of your videos that you expect new equipment to come out soon? Do you know things that you're not allowed to talk about?

@AllinStryde - with a username like this you should get a kickback from NuVasive too jk lol. But yeah I've seen that documentary a while ago and it was interesting. I'll have to see if I can arrange an interview with any of them to see what they think of CLL. Great idea!

@interested_2022 - to be honest I think they have removed the original Stryde nail but that doesn't mean they can't make the 2.0 better. Haha you caught that little Easter egg huh. Yeah I may have bumped into an interesting company who is dabbling with LL tech...time will tell
