Hi, thinking adding 2 inches to my shinbones, going from 5’6 to 5’8. Don’t see many people talking about upper body to lower body proportion, which I think is just as important if not more than femur to tibia proportion... my question is any guidelines on how to measure upper body v lower body proportions (sitting height, or measured your feet to perineum??) any indications on how to take into account upper v lower body proportion would be great.

thanks for that. Skelie ratio measures leg to torso ratio. FYI for others, another good ratio I just found is leg to body ratio. For leg length, subtract sitting height from standing height. LBR (Lower Body Ratio) is then defined as Leg Length / Your height. Apparent the mean is 0.491. SD of 0.015. Apparent certain computer generated image shows that men with slightly higher than mean LBR (long legs) are considered more Attractive.https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5666244/
