Thanks yeah the field of LL is definitely on the rise. Although nothing concrete yet, I've heard of some interesting research going on. If I'm able to say or find out more I'll be sure to update

Another amazing interview Cyborg, great job!

I was really impressed with Dr. Debiparshad. I loved his mindset -

  • Not all patients suffer from height dysphoria / some form of a mental illness surrounding there height - this is something I've struggled to connect with myself (I'm not saying others don't have some form of this) and feel much more aligned with the self improvement / improve quality of life approach
  • Getting back to work / normal life quality and fully utilizing the weight bearing technology
  • His calculated, almost "assembly line" type approach to the surgery - it seems like he has an amazing process down that he has now mastered
  • How he views the procedure and its future

If I was getting the procedure done in the states I would definitely be considering Dr. Debiparshad. Thanks for putting this content out.

Thanks Batu I agree with all your points and was very impressed with Dr. D as well.

So I was able to do an interview with Dr. Giotikas today and although the sound wasn't the greatest I think he had a unique perspective on LL also.

Interview with Dr. Dimitrios Giotikas

Also, I have touched base with a patient who got cosmetic limb lengthening who said he would be interested in doing a live Q & A for those who ask questions about his LL experience from a patient perspective. I'm not tech savvy at all so still need to learn the details of how to properly live-stream etc.

Have a great weekend!

It's really great to see the passion these doctors have for their work, Dr. Gioktas seemed so happy when discussing LL and his patients.

I liked hearing him talk about the different generations of LL and the responsibility he feels to push the field forward in the right way, it will be really great to read his study when it comes out next year.

Data on funtionality, range of motion, recovery based on patients ratios and amount lengthening will be huge imo. These considerations are super important and will really help both doctor and patients decide on the best approach and goals.

Thanks for another of these interviews Victor, you're doing a great service to everybody interested in LL.
