Hello dear members,
I'm a newbie; this is my first thread. I have been thinking about LL surgery for nearly two years, and I will keep thinking about it until I get the money. But I want something new to think about by asking for your opinion on my stature, how much should I increase and in which parts.
I will put the measurements of my overall height, wingspan, and sitting height, backed up with my photograph.
Overall height: 1. 65 cm
Sitting height: 87 cm
Wingspan: 1. 68

My suggestion is 4 cm femur + 4 cm tibiae to reach 173 cm.
What do you think?
Also, I think I shouldn't increase more than my suggestion because of my short torso. What do you think?
I appreciate your help.
Thank you

Thanks a lot, kunta kinte.
I think I'll end up with a long femur.
I modified the thread and included my suggestion. I hope to know your opinion.
Quote from: exclide on August 27, 2014, 01:50:28 PMYour legs somehow look long, I wouldn't do more than 10 cms
Really!! I think they are not in reality.
Could you please explain what do you mean by 10 cm? I mean in which part(s)?
Thank you
Quote from: Taller on August 27, 2014, 02:47:40 PMWhat's wrong with a long femur and short torso? It is a naturally occurring body type after all. Nobody will suspect anything.
I think one should choose the measurements that would make their body seem as proportional, I mean natural, as possible. Increasing a little bit in both parts of the leg without overlooking the torso is the best option, i think. Imagine a short torso, a long femur and a short tibiae.
Anyway, please what do you think of my suggestion in relation to my body?
Thanks a lot, Taller.
Quote from: kunta kinte on August 27, 2014, 04:02:26 PMIf you can aford it go for the 4+4 it will look the most natural and you will gain the most height without risking the freaky look which you get with lengthening only one part for a big gain. If you don't mind me asking, how long is your inseam(measure from croch to ground) because your legs look long?
Thanks for the comment.
My inseam height is 80 cm. Does it make a difference?

I wonder what is the idea behind such a comment , your first here, on a thread initiated this day.
As long as this forum is open you will see such topics. The world doesn't stop on you having done the surgery.
Quote from: kunta kinte on August 27, 2014, 06:24:12 PM your legs are now about 48% of your total height. After lengthening they will be 50%. PERFECT!
Thanks for the encouragement.
I hope to know about your experience with LL if you don't mind. Have you done the surgery? What is your original height?
Quote from: Hallijah on August 27, 2014, 10:52:20 PMOh btw your arms are short so keep in mind that
And what do you suggest?
Thanks
Quote from: Sweden on August 28, 2014, 12:01:37 AMYou need to get in much better shape before you do the surgery though.
Thanks a lot, Sweden.
Yeah, I'm fully aware of that. I think my torso will look taller if it becomes lean and ripped, and so it would suit the lengthening of the legs.
Am I right?

Might be just a bad photo though, not sure, but your legs look like you already lengthened them
The camera was placed in the level of my hips about 3 meters away from me? Does it make a difference?
