Personally, I have told my friends already and nobody has given me for it. I'm 5 foot 5. I told them life is short, I think this is going to improve my life and i'm going for it. This isn't something to be ashamed of guys and were talking about friends here.
One thing I forgot to add, I'm 31 so I understand that your friends may not be as understanding. I really can't help you here.
dont say anything.. noone will think u did anything.... prob only 1/100000 people even would ever consider doing something like this.. ive spoken to people that were about my height before.. andi dont feel much taller.. its only when i look in the mirror i can notice

It goes either way.
Nice, thanks! This'll work if I don't want to be honest with all of 'em.
Do LL, find a decent excuse and don't care about your friends/relatives opinions: believe me, people are ABSOLUTELY NOT SMART AS THEY THINK! I'm using lifts in my shoes from 2012 (to look at least a few more than 170 cm) and probably nobody have understood my expedient (and inside me I'm laughing at them because they are sooo stupid
). Obviously, I want to try to do LL a day (as everyone in this forum), but believe me, nobody will understand that you have done this surgery.
And even if they will understand... what's the matter?
I'm just worried about money to do that (I need a job, sigh
) and time to recover my phisical abilities.

Because people are very judgemental and I don't want to be pissed off everywhere by people asking about it. I don't like people as it is. Even if I just tell my close friends(which I'm considering), they will try talking me out of it.
Also what about when my friends ask why I'm not around to hang out for so many months? And they might want to visit me, so keeping as close to the truth (femur surgery) with just lying about the purpose seems very convenient.
I can understand that, family and friends I don't mind but I feel that the others don't need to know. People like to talk and I wouldn't want to be the "phony" who got a crazy LL. I would rather enjoy the new height James Bond style, secretly.
Of course your male friends most likely won't see your femur scars, then it's even easier by just saying you corrected a lld, that's why you were incapacited for months and you're taller now.
You got my point. And that's a good excuse
I was going to say I put the rods in to correct it, and you can use them to increase height while you're at it.
Just say you went skiing and hit a tree or something.
