I am considering undergoing limb lengthening surgery to gain about 7cm. I have heard that the latest methods can make this process more affordable and less painful. Can anyone share their experience with the costs and effectiveness of these newer techniques?

I am not sure I would recommend this to anyone. I have read about the risks of infection, nerve damage, and uneven growth. Not to mention the cost! Has anyone considered the long-term effects of this surgery? What if you end up with chronic pain or limited mobility?
